SUNBURY — State Treasurer Stacy Garrity went to the Northumberland County Commissioners meeting to recognize March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. , she presented a proclamation to the commissioners. Sec. Garrity says PA ABLE lets qualifying people save money without losing means-tested benefits, “Starting January 1, 2026, the ABLE Age Adjustment Act kicked in. Before your disability would have had to occur before the age of 26, but that is now 46, so they added 20 years, which is fantastic. What that means is 8-million Americans, including a million Veterans, are now able to save with PA ABLE.”
