LEWISBURG — The League of Women Voters of the Lewisburg Area is inviting declared write-in candidates to be included in its primary election voters’ guide. League officials say the guide covers the general primary in Union County.
The League says candidates whose names appear on the ballot are automatically included in the printed guide. Write-in candidates must meet legal qualifications and formally announce their candidacy at least 50 days before the election.
League officials say write-in candidates must also show evidence of campaign activity or support. Candidates must notify the League by to be included in the printed guide.
