DOWNINGTOWN — A community in Downingtown gathered to honor a fallen state police corporal killed in the line of duty. A funeral was held for 38-year-old Timothy O’Connor, Jr. at St. Joseph Parish.
State police say O’Connor was shot March Eighth during a traffic stop in West Caln Township. Authorities say a driver opened fire, then exited the vehicle and took his own life. State police say O’Connor served 15 years after joining in 2010. He most recently worked from the Embreeville station.
