MIFFLINVILLE — The Press Enterprise is reporting…State police seized about $1.2 million worth of illegal cannabis products during a truck inspection in Mifflinville. Troopers say they detected a strong marijuana odor during a March 16 safety check at the Interstate Eighty rest area.
Police say the eastbound semi-trailer contained five pallets of pre-packaged cannabis products, including pre-rolled cigarettes, edible pot, and vape systems.
The unidentified driver consented to a search, and authorities impounded the truck for further inspection. The Press Enterprise reports that investigators say charges are still pending, and the case will be prosecuted in Columbia County.
