HARRISBURG — State regulators will hear from the public on a proposed natural gas rate hike affecting UGI customers. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission has scheduled two hearings next week on the request. The first is April 1 in Wilkes-Barre, with a telephone hearing April 3.
The commission says UGI is seeking about a 100 million dollar annual increase. Customers who want to testify can call 877-874-1047. Officials say both hearings include afternoon and evening sessions to encourage participation.
