TURBOTVILLE — A local foundation is supporting community programs with its latest round of funding. The Harry C. Mathias Sr. Charitable Foundation announced several spring grant awards benefiting organizations in the Warrior Run region.
Officials say $2,000 was awarded to the Exchange Swimming Pool. They say additional grants include $1,000 for the Kids Cafe program and $500 each to the Montgomery House Library, Kingdom Kidz, and the Danville Area Community Center.
They say $250 was also awarded to Toys for Tots. The foundation supports organizations serving community needs and continues the legacy of educator and coach Harry Mathias Sr.
