NORTHUMBERLAND — A local nonprofit fundraiser is planned this coming afternoon to support community programs in the Valley. Organizers say the Getting Ahead Foundation will host a bingo and basket raffle event.
The event is set for from 1pm to 4pm at Sunbury Bible Church along Route 11 near Northumberland. Organizers say doors open at noon and tickets cost $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
They say admission includes a door prize entry, with additional bingo packs, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing available. Organizers say proceeds will support the foundation’s work helping individuals move toward financial stability and independence. They have more information at gettingaheadfoundation.org.
