NORTHUMBERLAND — In Northumberland, local musicians will unite for a “Float My Boat” benefit concert supporting riverboat construction. Organizers say the event is set for , at Front Street Station.
Officials say eight local acts will perform from 1:30pm to 7:30pm, featuring a mix of folk, blues, and rock music. Organizers say the event also includes raffles and a Chinese auction with items from local businesses.
Event organizers say admission is $20, with all proceeds supporting the Central Susquehanna Riverboat Society. They say funds will help complete a riverboat project for recreation, education, and tourism on Lake Augusta.
