SHAMOKIN — Three young children were found alone on Arch Street in Shamokin, and their parents now face felony child endangerment charges. The News Item reports, Shamokin police charged 29-year-old Brandon Deesing and 24-year-old Katiesha Swartz. They also face drug charges.
Police say two people spotted the children — ages 7, 5, and 1 — walking in the street and called police. The News Item reports, court records show the couple faced similar endangerment charges in after 2 children were found unsupervised on Sunbury Street. County Children and Youth Services is also involved.
