SUNBURY — Live music returns to Sunbury this weekend with a free community concert. The Sunbury City Band will perform at 3pm at Zion Lutheran Church at Market and Fifth Street. Organizers say the program will feature marches, movie themes, folk tunes, and patriotic music celebrating American culture and history.
The band is directed by Thomas Gegenheimer, with Assistant Director Jacob Stahley. Admission is free, though donations will be accepted. The group is also welcoming new musicians of all ages. More information is available at sunburycityband.org or on the band’s Facebook page.
