WATSONTOWN — Representative Michael Stender will host a license plate replacement event later this month to help drivers replace damaged or peeling plates. The event is scheduled for from 3pm to 5pm at Watsontown Memorial Park.
Stender says drivers with unreadable plates can face problems during inspections or traffic stops. Staff members will help residents complete replacement paperwork and answer questions about eligibility and the PennDOT approval process. Officials say there is no cost to apply for a standard replacement plate if PennDOT determines the plate is illegible. More information is available at RepStender.com or by calling 570-286-5885.
