WATSONTOWN — The Watsontown Historical Association is considering a museum expansion that would create a dedicated military hall. The Standard Journal reports the 2,300-square-foot addition was presented during a Watsontown Borough Council work session at the museum.
The Standard Journal reports board member Erica Frey says the addition would be built where the former bank drive-thru bank and parking lot was located. She says there is no cost estimate or timeline yet.
Council members verbally supported moving the project forward, with formal action expected . The military hall would include two floors and feature a permanent military display.
