SELINSGROVE — Selinsgrove Area School District residents will not see a tax increase in next year’s budget. The Daily Item reports the school board approved a $53.5 million spending plan for the 2026-27 school year.
Officials will use $1.17 million from the district’s unassigned fund balance to close a deficit. Business Manager Michael Sokoloski says $1.9 million will remain in that account after the budget is balanced.
