DANVILLE — WOLF-TV reports the Pennsylvania DEP will hold a public hearing on a proposed municipal waste transfer station in Montour County. The hearing runs from 6pm to 8pm at the Montour County Administration Center in Danville.
DEP is reviewing an application from 22 Transfer LLC for a 47-acre site in Cooper Township, near Grovania Drive. The proposed facility could process about 500 tons of waste per day. The project would include a waste transfer station, recycling center, and waste-hauling support facilities. Written comments will be accepted through .
