MOUNT CARMEL — WOLF-TV reports a 21-year-old Mount Carmel man is facing charges after state police say he assaulted several troopers during an arrest. State police say troopers found him while investigating a missing endangered person case.
Troopers say the man was wanted on an active felony warrant when they tried to arrest him on North Locust Street. WOLF-TV reports he resisted, bit and spit at troopers, and became physically aggressive.
State police say three troopers were listed as victims in the incident. The man was taken into custody, and no additional injury details were released.
