MONROE TOWNSHIP — State police say a McAlisterville man faces charges after a motorcycle pursuit in Snyder County.
Police say a traffic stop was attempted on two motorcycles heading south on North Susquehanna Trail, or US 11 South, with no displayed registration. Troopers say the rear motorcycle fled, reached 70 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone, and exited onto Route 35.
Police say the rider changed lanes, used the shoulder, crossed the double yellow line, and ran a stop sign at Route 35 and South Market Street. The rider entered a trailer court and disappeared into a field, but police later identified him as 41-year-old Joshua Hockenberry.
