LEWISBURG — One of the state’s lawmakers was in Lewisburg .
U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick visited WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg to highlight rural healthcare innovation. Sen. McCormick toured the hospital and met with WellSpan leaders about efforts to improve patient care through artificial intelligence, digital health tools, and value-based care.
The visit also focused on rural healthcare challenges, workforce needs, AI-assisted imaging, surgical innovation, and reducing administrative burdens on healthcare providers. WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital President Allen Fasnacht was among the leaders taking part in the visit.
