BLOOMSBURG — Selinsgrove photographer Jimmy Tighe has won the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau’s 2026 Covered Bridge Photo Contest. His image of the Sam Wagner Covered Bridge will be featured on this year’s limited-edition, 550-piece covered bridge puzzle.
The Montour County bridge, built in 1881, reopened to vehicle traffic in April after repairs from damage caused by a box truck in 2022. The $18 puzzle is expected to arrive this fall, with $2 from each sale supporting the Columbia County Covered Bridge Association’s preservation work. Honorable mentions went to Brittany Kershner, Brandy Whitenight, and Mark Koskulitz.
