LEWISBURG — Bucknell University says alumnus Jay Wright has been named to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026. Wright graduated from Bucknell in 1983 and later became one of the most successful coaches in college basketball.
Bucknell says Wright compiled a 642-and-282 record over 28 seasons, including 21 years at Villanova. He led the Wildcats to national championships in 2016 and 2018, four Final Four appearances and 13 Big East regular-season and tournament titles.
Wright was also inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021. More information is available at bucknellbison.com.
