MIFFLINBURG — The Daily Item reports 39-year-old Jeffery Scott Burrows of Mifflinburg is accused of raping two young girls. Police say the abuse happened over about two years in Buffalo Township, Union County. The girls were 10 and 8 when their mother reported the allegations last November.
Police say both children described repeated sexual abuse at Burrows’ Furnace Road home. Investigators say the abuse began in 2022 and continued for about two years. Police say the girls were afraid to tell their mother. Burrows faces 12 felony charges and two misdemeanor charges. He was jailed on about $150,000 bail.
