DANVILLE — Danville will wrap up its Summer Movie Series with an evening showing of “The Goonies” at Canal Park. The Danville Business Alliance says festivities begin around 6 p.m.
Families are encouraged to arrive early for ice cream from Fran’s Dairy Bar and free popcorn from the Danville Moose. The Danville Arts Council will also offer a pirate-themed craft before the movie.
The Danville Business Alliance, Danville Borough, and Danville Arts Council pre-ponsor the event. Organizers suggest bringing chairs and blankets for one final downtown movie night before Danville students return to school next week.
