MONTANDON — Sheetz will open its first Montandon location , bringing another major convenience store to Northumberland County. The new store is located along Route 45 and will employ about 30 people.
Sheetz says customers will receive free self-serve coffee and soda . A larger grand opening celebration is planned morning with giveaways, a ribbon cutting and visits from local organizations.
Sheetz will also donate about $2,500 each to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and Special Olympics Pennsylvania. The company says the Montandon store is its second location in Northumberland County. More information is available at sheetz.com.
Officials with Sheetz say, “Beginning at 9 a.m. outside the store, where it will be joined by hundreds of residents, representatives from local nonprofits and elected official for a party and welcoming. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:45 a.m.”
