Two men have been charged after a fight involving a gun in Upper Augusta Township on August 13th. NorthCentralPA.com reports 21-year-old Jacob Hinderliter and 29-year-old Jeff Stutzman were both charged with assault following the incident.
Police say they got into a fight and Stutzman allegedly fired a handgun around 5:30 p.m. Police say he fire a round over Hinderliter’s head in an attempt to scare him. Two children were nearby when the incident occurred. Stutzman is jailed. Stutzman told police that Hinderliter is his wife’s boyfriend, as the involved parties were in a polygamous relationship.
