MIDDLEBURG — State Rep. David Rowe is holding a blood drive next week. The event will be at Rockland Academy. The drive will run from about 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Rep. Rowe says the Red Cross is facing a second national blood crisis, with donations at a four-year low.
He says donors are needed to help hospitals treat patients facing surgeries, cancer treatments and other emergencies. Registration is required to donate. Rowe’s office will also provide information about state programs and resources during the event. More information is available at RepDavidRowe.com and redcrossblood.org.
